The Value of Being Physically Literate

This position paper written by Dr Margaret Whitehead sets out the value of being physically literate first from a philosophical perspective and then from a more practical perspective of the relationship between physical literacy and human flourishing. Four grids are presented that chart in detail the ways that physical literacy can promote aspects of physical/embodied health, social health, emotional health and intellectual health.
